Our timed delivery services offers you to book a delivery service and get it by a specific hour, namely Parcelforce before 9am service. This is the fastest for UK delivery and prices start from £18.15 exc VAT for a drop off service. If you don‘t need a parcel delivered before a specific time then Parcelforce 24 Express will do the job for you. Your parcel will be delivered within 24 hours, usually the next day and prices only start from £9.95 exc VAT. Fastest delivery times for International deliveries: You want to send your parcel across the world but you‘re not sure which service is the fastest? For international deliveries, express services offer a quicker delivery time due to it being expedited and prices start from £13.16 outside the UK and £9.70 for European destinations. Express services cuts off between 1-3 days than economy services so if you have an urgent delivery that needs to be received in the fastest way then book express. What‘s the cheapest service?

At Parcel Pal, we aim to give you the most affordable prices for delivery services. Most UK deliveries take between 1-2 days and you‘ll easily find the cheapest price when you click on the ‘Cheapest‘ tab on the quotation page. This applies also to international deliveries.

What‘s a collection or drop off service?

If this is your first time sending a parcel or if you‘re unsure about some of the services that we have on Parcel Pal then this will help you. When you are looking at our quotes you‘ll see services which offer drop off or collection services. Drop off services: This is where you drop off your parcel at a drop off location so that your parcel will be delivered. Collection service: When you book for a collection service, the courier will come to your address and collect the parcel from you. This means that you won‘t need to take the parcel down yourself and you can stay at home.

Can I send over 30kg?

At Parcel Pal we try to provide our customers with great prices and services, we are currently able to send up to 30kg at the moment but will be looking into expanding this limit in the near future. If you have a large parcel that is still under 30kg, Parcelforce Express 24/48 large can help you since this service offers you a maximum length of 2.5m rather than the standard 1.5m.

When can I book for my parcel to be collected?

When you are booking for a collection service, you will be able to see a calendar and the dates that you‘d like your courier to come and collect your parcel.

Changes in delivery bookings

If you find that you will need to make amends to a delivery address then please contact us and we will do our best to sort it our for you. If it is only a small change ie. Mistake in number or mistype then providing that you are able to tell us in an adequate time, there will be no additional surcharge or re-booking made. Changing a part large of your booking will mean that you will need to re-book the service again with the right information. If you need any help in making changes then you will need to contact us, please do not directly contact the courier since you have made this booking through us. If you are re-booking a service then you will need to cancel your pre-existing one which can be done through telephone or live chat.

How do I package my parcel before sending?

Packing your items for delivery is an important part when you are sending it out for delivery, if you are a business then it is especially important for your customers to receive the goods intact. Here are some additional information on how to package your parcel so that a smoother delivery process is operated. How to package your parcel: 1. Choose a box that is big enough for your items to fit. You’d want a box that leaves a few inches from the sides so that extra packaging can be added. Wrap your items individually A new, strong box that is preferably double walled and corrugated as it will bring a lot more protection for your items to decrease it being damaged. 2. Pack the items individually for more protection; using bubble wrap, Styrofoam, polystyrene, Kraft paper is best to offer an extra layer of protection. Make sure that the item inside your box does not move too much, if it does then you may want to add more inner packaging to stop it from moving. 3. Seal your parcel with strong packing tape, cello tape may not be strong enough but when you are using the tape, it should be at least 4-5cm wide to ensure that the seal is fully closed and prevent the sides of the box opening. 4. Print and attach your label onto the parcel where it is clearly visible. It is your responsibility to provide adequate packaging for your parcel.

Can I send items with unusual shapes?

You can send items as long as it’s not on the prohibited items/restrictions list and if it within the size limit for the courier you are intending to send with. Here is a list of the maximum size and weight limits for each courier: DPD: Collection:Max weight 30kg, max girth (length+width+height):230cm Drop off: Max weight of 20kg, no 2 sides longer than 120cm when combined Parcelforce- standard Collection: Max weight 30kg, length and girth must not exceed 1.5m in length. Drop off: Max weight 30kg, length and girth not not exceed 1.5m in length. Parcelforce- Large/heavy Collection: Max weight 30kg, up to 2.5m in length and length and girth combined should not exceed 5m. Drop off: Max weight 30kg, up to 2.5m in length and length and girth combined should not exceed 5m. UPS: Drop off: Max weight 20kg, longest side must not exceed 97cm in length. Total size must not exceed 300cm in length and girth combined. DHL: Collection: Max weight 30kg, 120 x 60x 60cm (LWH), max girth 360cm. Can I send multiple parcels?

Sending multiple parcels is not a problem, you can send multiple parcels to one address or to different addresses for each parcel.

How do I track my parcel?

We all know that tracking is important when you‘re sending a parcel. All courier services here at Parcel Pal provides tracking which means you‘ll be able to see the stages of your parcel. Once you have booked a delivery service with us you can go back to ‘My account‘ and click on ‘Real time tracking‘ on your latest order. Underneath you will see your tracking number, copy that number and click on ‘Track Parcel‘ to your right. Finally, click on the ‘Track my Parcel‘ button and it tell you at what stage your parcel is. You can also check your payment email and find the order and tracking number at the top of the email and use this on ‘Track My Parcel‘ page.
