You must check with the courier you are choosing to send your parcel with to check if they have any specific regulations on sending jewellery.
Some items such as jewellery over £250 and jewellery containing precious stones are not accepted or compensated for. So, you must double check with the courier before sending.
What cover is included when sending jewellery?
The insurance/cover that is included in your parcel delivery service depends on which service you choose. This is available to see on the ‘more information’ section of each service once you search using our online tool.

Our Hermes UK services includes £20 protection cover.
Our DHL UK services includes £20 protection cover.
Our Parcelforce UK services includes £50 protection cover.
Our DPD UK services includes £50 protection cover.

Can I send jewellery within the UK?
Yes, you can send jewellery within the UK. If the jewellery item is not of high value or high sentimental value you can simply book any UK domestic service with us.
As mentioned above if your item is of high value you must read out Sending High Value Items guide before sending.
Can I send jewellery internationally?
Yes, but you need to check the rules and regulations of the specific country you are sending too to check if they have any restrictions on your item.
You will also be required to complete a customs declaration, and will be subject to pay customs tax. Read our guide on navigating customs here.
